Joe Vescio is a Managing Partner and member of the Investment Committee of Portland Private Equity, LP, (PPE) the general partner of the AIC Caribbean Fund (ACF). ACF is a fund whose mandate is to invest in the Caricom countries and the Dominican Republic. Joe has been with PPE since June 2008. In addition to his investment management responsibilities, including origination, structuring and negotiation, Joe is responsible for finance and operations of the fund.

Prior to joining PPE, Joe was a Managing Director of AIC Global Holdings Inc. (“AICGHI”). His responsibilities included direct oversight of media investments and the development of several real estate investments totaling 600 acres.

Before entering the corporate realm, Joe was a successful independent consultant providing various financial and litigation advisory services to corporations, law firms and individuals. Joe has appeared often as an expert witness in financial matters to the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Justice (General Division) and various tribunals.

Joe Vescio is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator. Joe is a graduate of the University of Toronto where he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree.

Joe is a citizen and resident of Canada.
