Mr. Scott has more than 25 years of international telecommunications industry experience spanning various telecom industries serving the Americas region. From 1984 to 2000, Mr. Scott held various executive management positions with Canadian Satellite Communications, Persona Communications (cable television) and Lodestar Towers USA, a wireless tower company. Thereafter Mr. Scott was employed by Caribbean Crossings, a subsea network subsidiary of Cable Bahamas and held the position of President until joining Columbus in 2005. During his four-year tenure at Caribbean Crossing, Mr. Scott was instrumental in the growth and success of that subsea network business from its launch in 2001.

Mr. Scott has been a member of the senior executive team of Columbus since 2005. Serving in the capacity of President and COO of the subsea network division, Columbus Networks, Mr. Scott continues to oversee the dramatic growth of that business. More recently he has been responsible for the successful launch of Columbus Business Solutions, a business unit within Columbus Networks providing broadband services to the Corporate market.

Mr. Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola University and a Master of Business Administration from Palm Beach Atlantic University.
