Revised Digital Basic Cable Rates from March

Port-of-Spain, February 1, 2011: Effective March 1st, 2011, there will be an increase in the monthly rates charged for Flow Residential digital cable services by 7%; rates will increase from $210.00 per month VAT Inclusive (VI) to $225.00 (VI).

Mr. Brian Collins, Vice President/General Manager at Flow said that this is the second residential digital cable rate increase in the last seven (7) years. Mr. Collins explained, ‘There have been significant increases in our network charges over the last few years. Yet, the increase being applied by Flow (7%) is less than the annual rate of inflation and less than the increase in network charges. Despite the continued increase in operational expenses and the adjustments due to take effect in March, we are still committed to providing our customers with a variety of programming. Mr. Collins added, ‘I would also like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank our valued customers, for their continued support and patronage over the years.’

The rate increase will affect Flow’s digital basic cable subscribers only. The monthly rate for Flow’s analog basic service remains $210.00 (VI) and there will be no change to the prices of digital optional and subscription packages.
