Flow Grenada Appoints New Country Manager

Port of Spain, Tuesday 1st March, 2011: Columbus Communications, Inc., parent company of telecommunications providers throughout the Caribbean operating under the Flow brand, announced changes to the management structure of its Grenada operation. Almost three years ago, Flow entered the Grenada market and has delivered on its promise to provide a robust Digital Network with competitive products through the introduction of superior digital cable TV, affordable Brodband services, as well as a competitive landline service.

Having successfully spearheaded the Company’s transition to a triple play service provider, and commencement of its digital network rebuild project, Kurleigh Prescod, General Manager of Flow Grenada since 2008, will transfer leadership to Grenadian Gail Purcell as he assumes a new Management position within the Southern Region.

John Reid, President and Chief Operating Officer of Columbus Communications - Southern Caribbean Region made the announcement yesterday. “Gail Purcell, new Country Manager for Flow Grenada is no stranger to the operation,” stated Mr. Reid “She has played a pivotal role during the transition from Cablevision to Flow and has led the revenue generating and development initiatives that have propelled the brand to top-of-mind status within the Grenadian community. Her background and knowledge of the industry makes her well suited to take on this additional responsibility.” Mr. Reid added, “I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge the leadership of Mr. Prescod over the past 2 ½ years; his contributions to Flow Grenada will be long lasting and Gail will no doubt benefit from the foundation that has been laid”.

According to Ms. Purcell “Grenada is at a very exciting stage in its ICT development, primarily led by Flow. I am pleased to be a part of this country transformation and I look forward to overseeing Flow’s continuing investment in its network, as evidenced by our upcoming expansion into Birchgrove, the introduction of new technologies, and our focus on enhancing the company’s operations”.

The management and staff of Flow Trinidad also took the opportunity to congratulate Ms. Purcell and Mr. Prescod on their new positions within the Company.
